Today, I chat with my friends about religion. Actually this topic is a bit sensitive for some people, but it's not wrong when we bring our thoughts out. And I'm glad, I can finally write about this topic.
ehmmmm..... well, I'm raised as a Catholic, and I'm still a Catholic. In my opinion, religion is about how we can interact with God and others in a decent way. The more I interact with people, the more I see that mostly people believe in their faith because of their experience with their God.
What is on my mind right now, is that I kept thinking, why does people prioritize religion better than faith. What I meant is, people believe that religion is the only way to reach heaven. In my opinion, religion is only a mean of transportation for us to reach God, but what is more important is that we have to have faith in Him, and do goods to others.
Faith is trust, hope and belief in the goodness, trustworthiness or reliability of a person, concept or entity. It can also refer to beliefs that are not based on proof (e.g. faith that a child will grow up to be a good person) - wikipedia
In some religion, the people are fettered in some rules which I think makes the community difficult, or more complex in order to communicate with their God. The way I see it, religion should simplify it's rules, so that it's people can communicate more freely.
